Following several years of research, Cybèle-Agrocare has built a collection of bacterial and fungal strains and now markets a range of products with market authorisation. Most of these PGPRs – Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria – occur naturally in soils and support crop growth as well as plant and soil health.
These products help farmers reduce their dependence on fertilisers and become more resilient to the increasingly frequent and persistent abiotic stresses affecting crops.
Our microbial biofertilisers address three key challenges:
1.
Crop nutrition, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other soil minerals
2.
Adaptation to climate-related stresses, including drought, cold, pH variations, salinity andother abiotic stresses
3.
Improving soil structure to make it easier to work and enhance its natural functions, including carbon sequestration and water filtration

Maximise your yields through biological nitrogen fixation
Biological nitrogen fixation is a natural process through which soil bacteria convert atmospheric nitrogen into a form that plants can absorb. Crops can therefore access a non-mineral source of nitrogen for their nutrition. This reduces dependence on fertilisers, supports soil biodiversity and helps secure farm yields.
AZOTILIS (AMM n°1170608)
A genuine natural complement to nitrogen inputs, this product contributes directly to crop nitrogen nutrition from germination through to heading.
• Azotilis is compatible with all farming systems and certification schemes (conventional farming, organic farming, HVE, CE2+, etc.)
• Azotilis can be used in vulnerable zones
• Azotilis is easy to use: a wettable powder applied in a single spray treatment, with tank-mix compatibility and easy storage
• Azotilis is a bio-based product natural
Focus on “diazotrophic bacteria” Nitrogen is essential to all living organisms. Worldwide, biological nitrogen fixation accounts for approximately 65% of the nitrogen used by crops and pastures. This resource can be harnessed without being depleted, as dinitrogen (N2) makes up 78% of the Earth’s atmosphere. The key is to convert this inert gaseous nitrogen into a biologically active form that crops can absorb.
Atmospheric nitrogen can be converted into ammonia by several genera of nitrogen-fixing bacteria known as diazotrophic rhizobacteria.
At our industrial site in Maine-et-Loire, our R&D centre carries out a rigorous selection of bacterial strains with proven agronomic benefits, supported by research validated by the scientific community.

Following careful laboratory identification, industrial scale-up relies on large-scale liquid fermentation equipment to manufacture products with a high concentration of microorganisms. As a manufacturer of high-performance freeze-dried inoculants, our facilities enable stable products in both solid and liquid formulations, making storage easier for farmers.
Do you have your own strains and want to benefit from our high-tech equipment and bioprocess optimization expertise for your upscale? We offer contract fermentation services.
